Allana competed in Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries made her be absent for a few seasons, before she switched to the Rugby League. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women was in 2015. She played well against Queensland and also represented New South Wales. Allana can also be found on radio on her resume, making regular appearances on the 2GB's most rated Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is also a certified instructor. Allana Ferguson is the only australian to have represented Australia in rugby sevens and in rugby league in addition to touch. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos athlete who played an extensive period of rugby league but had to stop her professional career prematurely because she injured her ACL four times. The 25-year-old has previously tore the ligament in the same knee when she was 15 17 and 20-years-old and after a fourth tear this meant that Ferguson's playing time ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to quit in the early hours. After suffering the injury in November during training, Ferguson was one of the faces of the women's league over these past few seasons, reported the report this week to The Courier Mail.
